About
Steve Cardy
Stephen Cardy PGA Advanced Professional
is a full time golf coach; he has many years experience in coaching
players that range from PGA Professionals, Elite Amateurs and
club golfers. In recent years Stephen has spent a lot of his coaching
time working with young elite amateurs at The Sports Academy.
Further enhancing Stephen's excellent coaching reputation he holds
the highly distinguished posts of PGA of Great Britain National
Swing Tutor and Swing Examiner. Furthermore, he has been a leading
light in establishing the Essex County Coaching programme as one
of the most successful of its kind in the UK.
This he has achieved in his capacity as an Essex County Coach.
Throughout his Career Steve has attended, and contributed to,
many teaching and coaching summits in the UK, mainland Europe
and the USA.
Stephen is also currently studying for an MSc in The Science of
Sports Coaching at London South Bank University.

Gary Pike Golf
Gary Pike PGA Advanced Professional is a former
David Leadbetter senior instructor and alongside Denis Pugh set
up the first UK David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Gary is currently
in his 30th year as a swing coach and during that time he has
presented his views on the golf swing in over 20 countries on
four continents.
The Gary Pike Golf Academy opened in the UK in 1991 at Forrester
Park GC in Essex, and since 1999 The Gary Pike Residential Golf
School at the Penina Resort on the Portuguese Algarve in Association
with Bill Goff Golf Tours.
Gary is a personal coach to over 50 professional golfers on all
main tours (including the European Tour, European Senior Tour
and the European Ladies Tour) as well as Elite Amature golfers
including English top International Dale Whitnell.
Gary has published over 100 articals on the golf swing. In 2005,
Gary was elected to Advanced member of the British Professional
Association for achievements in coaching. Currently, for the past
twelve years Gary has been the Essex County Coach and was instrumental
in the restructuring of the training system currently used to
great success today.
